The Trades Companies involved with St. Colman's Cathedral

BUILDING CONTRACTORS

The main building contract was assigned to Messrs. M.Meade and Son, Dublin, who began work in April 1869. By mutual agreement this contract terminated in February 1871.

Thenceforth, building by direct labour went on under the supervision of Cathedral Architect G.C. Ashlin and of Clerk of Works, C.G. Doran.
